Jochen studied Visual Arts in Germany and as part of his studies spent six months in Australia working at the New England Regional Art Gallery in Armidale.
Jochen relocated to Australia in 1997 and, fascinated with the display and housing of artworks, very quickly became established in the picture framing industry.
In 2003 Jochen received the qualification of Guild Commended Framer by the Fine Art Trade Guild in the UK. He is a member of the Australian Institute for the Conservation of
Cultural materials and served on the NSW AICCM committee from 2004 - 2008.
Jochen strives to find the best solution to any task at hand - attention to detail, a keen eye for colour and design as well as the knowledge of conservation and
archival materials and techniques make him one of the most trusted picture framing professionals in Australia.
